SARS-CoV-2 has infected hundreds of millions of people worldwide, and initial data has shown that several variants of concern can be more infectious and even escape antibody neutralisation. Robert Naughton investigates the relationship between monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein.

Our friends at ChangemakerXChange are launching a global effort to connect youth changemakers aged 18-35 who are working to tackle climate change!  Their ultimate goal is to help the youth climate movement become even more connected, collaborative, and impactful.

Apply now to:

  • join an in-person gathering, convening 15-25 young climate activists and changemakers in beautiful locations deep in nature, focused on human connection, peer-learning and collaboration
  • participate in a tailored online global capacity-building programme, that brings together climate action changemakers from different regions
  • become a lifelong member of the thriving global ChangemakerXchange community.
Applications for the Europe, North America and MENA regions are open now, but close 11:59 pm GMT on Thursday, 30 June 2022!

Youth STEM 2030 Founder Mhairi McCann Wins Young Scot Environment Award

We’re thrilled to share that Youth STEM 2030’s Mhairi McCann was announced winner of the Environment Award at the 2022 Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards!  The award recognises Mhairi’s work to empower youth as changemakers in STEM here at Youth STEM 2030, as well as her pursuits to meaningfully increase youth voice in ocean and climate decision-making.

We’re excited to share that Youth STEM 2030, alongside hundreds of other organisations around the world, is now a signatory of the SDG Publishers Compact: a series of objectives created by the United Nations for publishing groups to accelerate progress towards the SDGs.
