How will the winners be selected?
At the end of the contest eighteen winning photos/posts will be selected by counting the likes received within the first month of publication. Thus, for example, for posts published on 1st June, likes received will be counted until the second publication period, i.e. until 1st July.
In addition, a technical jury, composed of the project partnership members will evaluate the photos published by assigning a score from 1 to 5. Each partner may cast only one vote for each post published.
Finally a special guest expert of media and social media (part of the technical jury) will express his/her vote by adding an extra bonus (10 points) to the final score.
The jury’s selection of the 18 finalists will be based on the following criteria: relevance to the Competition theme, creativity expressed, aesthetic quality, and persuasiveness of the posts. Photos/Posts will be judged on content, text and quality.
The final 18 winners selected will be contacted by the ANPAL – EURES National Coordination Office team via e-mail, by September 5th 2019. The first 8 will also be invited as testimonials to the final event of the European Solidarity Corps project to share their stories.
