Γνωρίζατε ότι μόλις πριν από περίπου 2 χρόνια, το Συμβούλιο Ασφαλείας των Ηνωμένων Εθνών αναγνώρισε ομόφωνα για πρώτη φορά την ανάγκη να συμπεριληφθούν οι νέοι σε προσπάθειες οικοδόμησης της ειρήνης και ότι οι νέοι μπορούν: 
1) να προωθήσουν την ειρήνη και την ασφάλεια 
2) να τερματίσουν τις συγκρούσεις 
3) διαδικασίες;
