The UNESCO Youth Eyes
on the UNESCO Silk Roads photo contest is now underway! This year we call on the creativity of youth to capture the beauty of the textiles and clothing produced and worn along the Silk Roads.
Find inspiration in the festivals and celebrations along these rich ancient routes, where you will find dances with vibrant clothing like those in ‘The First Sama Dance’ taken by Nilofar Niekpor. It was selected among the best photos of the 2019 Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads Photo Contest.
