My name is YUJI MIYATA, who is President of Peace Week, Peace Messenger, Environmental Activist, and Sustainable Social Design Consultant.

(Walked 14,100km, planted over 5000 trees, held a lecture at 800 schools, helped 300 orphanages, and supervise the different organization projects in 22 countries. )

2.) Education part: Using my network which I connected through my walking, hold educational program to raise the ordinary people awareness.
3.) Local platform: Inspiration and education are not enough to make the people be able to take any actions without the platform. After the education project, with a potential influencer - we build the platform for a localized, sustainable circular community.
Nowadays, so many problems happen, and to solve the global issue, we need constructive approach.
A.) We need to empower the people.

C.) We need to lead the local people to unite.
D.) We need to make local people be able to understand the social issues and solve the problems by local people for the local community.

In these three approaches, I have been trying to change the world a better place.
Our final goal is to try to make a complexed facility or network function which can reform the community to be localized circular sustainable community.
Here is the explanation as below,
Nowadays, we waste so many things -food, natural resources, human resources, land, architecture so on.
And it appears as pollution, poverty, conflict, and war. We need to maintain and reform the social system to be more circular, sustainable and localize society. Here is the evidence what happens now in our world.
1.) to keep our economy we need 1.6 times more natural resources,
2.) more than 5 trillion plastic bags
3.) consumed, 3.5 to 7 billions trees were cut down per year, and
4.) our world population would be 10 billion by 2050. Just only the facts, everybody can imagine how we waste our natural resources.
5.) due to AI (Artificial Intelligent), the majority of job would replace by robots

And so many different aspects appear as tiny result "forest fire" in Amazon, Indonesia, Russia in this year as an impact of climate change & global warming.
More than tree grow or nature recovery, our human civilization destruction & consumption speed are dramatically faster.
It appears in a half-century after the industrial revolution,

What we need to do is not following capitalism and globalization, We need to focus on localization where can make function system of self-sufficient and create a circular network.
The most important thing is our ignorance. We need to change our habit and lifestyle. It is the only way to recover the balance between nature and human civilization.
Just climate strike would not solve any problem. Needless to say, it is not the way to expect the government to solve the problem. What we need to do is as below. We need to change our mindset. We need to change our lifestyle. We need to change our habit. For example, each day, we need to consider our lifestyle. We need to think about how can we give the impact in our world. It is just only the solution to solve each global problems. Each person we have some purpose to appears on our earth.
We need to reform our local social system to be a circular and a sustainable society where everybody can feel dignity and respect. Although most of the people's lifestyle is under the negative poverty circulation - even people have awareness, people do not have enough time or enough money. Therefore, people cannot take actions.
It is the reason we try to make the complexed local facility where everybody can feel dignity and respect receiving basic needs as below,
1,) Healthy food through community organic garden and direct buying system where can support a local farmer

2.) Working place for local business through coworking and coproducing space,
**Using waste food and material from the shop and market, produce zero-waste eco-product.
**Through share space for a local producer - connect different field people to be able to reform the community to be more circular system protecting from a global investor.

3.) Elderly and children care through the co-care centre and co-educational area,
** Elderly people can feel joy and happiness rather than live alone and feel loneliness
** Children can learn the culture and environment and make them imagine the future way of sustainable community

4.) Community Market as local market space In this way, as a circular system - we can reduce, reuse, and recycle the waste and make function system at a local community.
It is not just only material or food waste; it related to landscape use, building use, and human resources.
But through this facility- we can reuse, recycle and care the people. It can be hub space for local community solve many things as bellow,

We need to think and take action multiply to solve the problems. To make the world peaceful and sustainable, we need to consider not just only ecology but need to think about all aspects which make our community system. It is a local business, education, elderly care, energy, transportation, food security so on.
Here is our sustainable model;

YUJI MIYATA studied at the elite privilege school and graduated from Keio Gijuku in Japan from Primary school to University.
Furthermore, in South Korea at Yonsei post-graduate school – studied Korean Language and psychology. However, love of nature and environment led to reconsider his decision and chose to leave graduate school to pursue a career protecting the earth and make a world a better and peaceful society.

He decided to become an activist spreading the word to people about the need to preserve the environment. Soon after his decision, he joined Earthwalker / UN Peace Ambassador - Paul Coleman on his mission to help green the Beijing Olympic games.
From 2007 to 2012, as Official United Nation Peace messenger – a particular project called CELEBRATION EARTH – which was the leading program of International day of peace – “The Culture of Peace Initiative” designated by the United Nations, he has spread the message of peace and environmental protection by walking.
After the long walking United Nation mission from China to London, 12,500 km walk - planting 4060 trees, held lectures at 700 schools and 200 orphanages in 17 different countries, he has established institute called “Peace Week”. It planned as an educational & sustainable social development program which spreads peace & environment projection through the various programs.
Through the Various program - "Peace Walk", "Education", and "Build Platform", he tries to change the world where all can feel dignity and respect.
Since he started the actions, he visited 24 different countries, walked 14,100 km, planting 5032 trees, held lectures at 805 schools and 300 orphanages in 23 different countries. Not only these individual actions - now many different countries - he supervises the various programs and event which can lead the people to change their behaviour and reform the social system more sustainably.

■Baltic Way Peace Walk From Tallinn to Vilnius (June to September 2018)
705kms walked along the Baltic Way from Tallinn to Vilnius from 30th of June to 21st of September.
He built Sustainable Social design Platform with 4 Municipality (Turi, Valmiera, Cesis, Panevezys), 3 Organisation (Youth Council of Cesis, Bambuss, Red Cross Youth) and 2 Institute at Ukmerge and Vilnius.
=It is the second step of the EKOPIA program - Local platform and a global network of Peace Week.

Moreover, connected to Vung Tau City- where located to the Southern Part of Vietnam Coast line city, - he starts his EKOPIA program with a local organisation.

To escape the future problems of food security, poverty, conflict, war and human immigration from the developing country to wealthy countries, he focuses on localisation sustainable community system.
It consist of 5 different aspect – community garden, co-education center, co-care center, co-producing center, and co-working facility, where all community people can use as own, share and transfer the knowledge, experiences, skills, ideas with community people where all can live as one family – respect and feel dignity through the independent localization system.

604km walked Through my walking from Auschwitz Poland to Berlin Germany -21 of February to 25th of April, he walked 604kms & planted 12 trees, held 12 lectures at schools & local community, 17 media he got an interview from TV, Radio, and Newspaper. – And for spreading real peace message through tree planting at Berlin on Earth Day, more than 585 people from 20 different countries they gathered the signature of Petition and sent Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, and Mayor of Berlin.
=Received the appreciation letter from Angela Merkel.
