Join us for a very special event on 1 October: the Ahinsa lecture on the future of education, marking the celebration of the 150th Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Organized by UNESCO's Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development, this special lecture features a dialogue with the hologram of Mahatma Gandhi, Anantha Duraiappah, Director of UNESCO MGIEP, Grégoire Borst, professor of development psychology and neurocognitive development and school learning, CNRS, and Lacoeuilhe, Member of Advisory board of UNESCO MGIEP’s TECH 2019.
Introduced in 2016, the Ahinsa Lectures are delivered by leading proponents of peace and non-violence for the benefit of peace builders, policy makers, UNESCO Member States, youth and the international community. The Ahinsa Lecture is organized to mark the International Day of Non-Violence celebrated on 2 October, the anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth.
